Check out the Spring/Summer 2012 collection from New York menswear designer Zam Barrett. We think the collection has progressed very nicely, culminating with this one that is in our humble opinion. We’re impressed by how cohesive the overall look and feel is without being repetitive. The actual breadth of styles (cuts, fabrics, pairings) is quite varied. The one element that’s the most consistent is the loose fitting, drop crotch pants, but even the range of fits and cuts on them varies.
A technically accomplished tailor who is drawn towards the Avant Garde end of the fashion spectrum, Barrett‘s work can be term as “philosophic minimalism†that is borne from the soul of an unwavering artisan.
