Timo Weiland Fall/Winter 2010By Editor in Fashion on July 26th, 2010 | 1 Comment »
We’ve seen the name tossed around, but haven’t given any serious attention to New York menswear line Timo Weiland until we got their Fall/Winter 2010 look book over the weekend. We love it. Great jackets, fabrics, and a unique take on classic, preppy menswear.
Timo Weiland celebrates the art of dressing. For Fall/Winter 2010, co-designers Timo Weiland and Alan Eckstein envelop themselves in their homespun, epic tale of eras colliding; The Age of Innocence meets Gangs of New York.
Weiland and Eckstein continue to investigate volume and proportion in their sophomore collection. For women: long-pleated and pin-tucked chiffon skirts, dramatic “curl†knit accents and tailored overcoats to intermingle texture, opacity and transparency.
