Check out the Spring/Summer 2011 images from menswear designer Patrick Stephan. We’re just seeing it for the first time and we love it!
Stephan grew up on a small island off the ‘savage’ coast of Brittany in the north-east of France. He was influenced by the raw beauty of the island the hand-stitched elegance of the clothes created by his grandmother and the purity of the objects crafted by the artisans around him. Patrick learned his craft with masters as diverse and legendary as corset maker Mister Pearl and the pret-a-porter collections of both Thierry Mugler and Galliano.
He then went on to hone his art at Dior Couture from 1998.After seeing an exhibition of Japanese craft and visiting the country he fell in love with Japan and moved here to create his dream of a brand which could explore the aesthetic possibilities of a fusion of both East and West and feminine and masculine.
