PUMA + The Morning Benders

As I'm sure you're aware, CMJ is almost here and that means lots of music and lots of music related events going on around the city.

I just got word from my friends at PUMA that Berkeley-based indie rockers The Morning Benders will be playing a special set tomorrow at 8pm at the PUMA store in SoHo.

If you're not familiar with the band, checkout their official site, which is slightly outdated, so checkout their blog and their MySpace also, where you can test drive a few songs.

Damnit Anna and Worth The Fight are amazing, and, of course, I'm living for their remake of Love Fool by The Cardigans. In listening to Worth The Fight, I hear a little Elliot Smith, whom I love. The band has also been compared to The Beatles and Pavement. Their latest EP Talking Through Tin Cans is available now on iTunes.

Have a listen and I'll see you tomorrow night.
