As I'm sure you're all well aware by now, I'm a sneaker man. I own 1 pair of shoes that I wear 1-2 times/year and only if I'm looking for freelance work and have to go meet with some suits.

I was doing my daily check of Oak's new arrivals last week and found a pair of boots that made me think twice: the Kaiser Boot by British footwear line H by Hudson. Check them out here. If you're not familiar with the line, it's part of London-based footwear company Hudson, which was started in 1990 with the goal of making innovative mens shoes with a painstaking attention to detail.

"Launched in 2004, H is our errant younger brother, pioneering, subversive, and rebellious. With H, we offer an ecclectic product mix from the much imitated modern day Espadrille to sharp formals. With our finger on the pulse, H can be expected to lead the way in footwear trends."
