Natalia Brilli + Project No 8

I stopped by Project No 8 the other night after a very satifying dinner at Bacaro.

*Side note: If you haven't been to Bacaro for drinks or dinner, do yourself a favor and go now. The stuffed artichoke, the gnocchi, and the steak are unbelievable. Not to mention the atmosphere and the crowd.

In addition to the killer selection of clothing and shoes, Project No 8 has an amazingly well-curated selection of jewelry. One line of particular interest is the leather wrapped accessories by Belgian designer Natalia Brilli, featuring wrist watches cum bracelets tightly wrapped in white, grey, and black leather. Other wrapped pieces at the shop include dominoes, whistles, and origami.

"Born in Belgium, Natalia Brilli studied at the prestigous Cambre school in Brussels. Designer of artfully sculptural jewelry, bags, and other accessories and objects, Natalia is well known for her amazing luxury use of leather as sculpture. After three years of serving Rochas as head accessories designer with Olivier Theyskens, she decided to start her own brand in 2005." Read her full bio here.

The watches can be found at Project No 8 (138 Division Street) and at Bblessing (181 Orchard Street), who also carrying the leather and suede wrapped bracelets seen in the pics below. Click here for a full list of stockists worldwide. The line is carried at some of the hottest stores in the world, including Club 21, Barney's, On Pedder, Maria Luisa, Shine, and, of course, Project No 8, Bblessing, and Seven, all here in New York.

And keep your eyes peeled for a leather covered skateboard that will be arriving at Project No 8 shortly for NB's Fall/Winter 2009 collection.
