Lodger My obsession with shoes continues. I had the realization today that I'm digitally prepping myself to make the big move into the world of dress shoes. It's kinda like how my dad used to wear dress shoes with sweatpants: he couldn't do sneakers. I'm the opposite: I've worn sneakers for so long and I'm so good at it, I'm scared to take the leap and just don't know what to buy or what to wear them with. Their custom fit starts out with a 3D laser scan to build a virtual model of each foot that is accurate to less than 1 mm! Left foot smaller than the right? They've got it covered. But they don't stop here: Once the scan of your feet is complete, they analyze it with the help of our customers so we can understand exactly how they want their pair to fit. Now that's custom service. Every Lodger shoe is individually made using the latest technology in a factory with more than one hundred years of shoemaking experience. Even the finish on certain styles is acheived by methodical application of dyes layer by layer. Lodger makes quality, something that's become as foreign to most consumers as the country (China!) that most of the low quality things we wear today are made in. Make sure to check out Lodger's site.
