Mjölk

I just got an email about a new menswear line that I think you will love: Mjölk.

Intelligently juxtaposing a nostalgic rustic feel with urban freshness, Danish born/Brooklyn based designer, Lars Stoten, introduces for his first presentation in Paris, a beautifully constructed, well-proportioned melange of classic elegance and eclectic experimentation with his CAMERAS FOR EYES AND HORSES FOR HEARTS A/W 09 collection.

Rugged and masculine elements, inspiration taken from military uniforms from the American Civil war, converge with adventurous, whimsical modern twists of tailoring, creating a poetic, melancholic beauty proposed in a muted color range varying from earthy tones to blasts of electric blue, yellow and red.

Rare and innovative patterns, techniques and finishings are featured in a luscious line of knitwear; hand-made oversized pullovers, cardigans and leggings with cozy organic linings.

Already recognized for its sleek cuts, playful proportions and attention to detail, this season's Mjölk collection is a handsome composition of uninhibited tailored looks composed in luxe quality Italian cotton shirting, British Melton wool suiting, and Japanese selvedge denims.

Complimenting the collection is a sleek range of accessories; aged metal-framed backpacks, casual moccasins, and sturdy boots.

I just cut and pasted that from their press release, fyi. It pretty much sums it up, though. The line looks amazing and they're fresh off a Paris Fashion Week presentation adding to the allure. Once I see it in person, I'll update you on the quality/construction. Have a look for yourself in the pics below. I think you'll agree.
