David Lindwall / New T-Shirt Collection

Artist/model/designer David Lindwall has just released a much-anticipated, new collection of tees.

David Lindwall was born in the blond and blue-eyed country-(side) in 1982 to a mother forced to continuously alter her outlandishly tall but very skinny boy's clothes. Sick of all that sewing Mother Lindwall informed boy Lindwall that he needed to learn to sew and there in adolescence his fashion education ended. At just 15 Lindwall left home to study chemistry, maths and physics in the city.

By 19, Lindwall was knocking around London and had started selling his self-made designs with his odd mix of references; black metal, medical fetish, sportswear and fanzine illustration all wrought on skinny denim and other secondhand finds, overloaded with zips. Lindwall would also produce the odd torn plastic ball-gown complete with Biro doodles. Collections like: Kill City with its medical references and drip tubes , Fashion is a Freedom Crime a collection based on the battle between good and evil and Rather be Dead than Fit in Your System were sold in London's sadly deceased, landmark store Pineal Eye.

Lindwall's Swedish 6'4" ectomorph frame got him cast in a Dior Homme campaign, a spell as an international modeling nomad with no permanent home followed.

Check out Lindwall's site for more info on the collection, pics of the tees and graphics, and of his artwork. His last collection was a runaway hit at Seven (New York), Dover Streeet Market (London), I.T (Hong Kong), and Restir (Tokyo). Keep an eye out for the arrival of this colletion in stores, as I'm sure it will sell out fast.
