Mosley Tribes Flip Ups Remember flip up sunglasses? Made famous by the likes of John Lennon and other sexy, classic icons, Mosley Tribes is bringing them back. The line, created by famed eye glass designer Larry Leight of Oliver People's fame, was created in 2005 and has continued on its upward ascent ever since. With styles that range from classic to sexy to trendy, Mosley Tribes has a pair of sunglasses for everyone, including recent collaborations with Crooks and Castles, Free City, and Maharishi. Just out for Spring/Resort 09, the Gates, which comes in bold primary colors -- perfect for hipsters -- and the flip up feature for those moments when you need to see a little more clearly. You may think it sounds gimmicky, but you're wrong. As I'm writing this, I've realized I could really use a pair of these for all those times when I duck inside or store or coffee shop and don't want to push my sunglasses up on my greasy hair, only to have to clean them off before putting them back on! TMI? Yeah, but I know you can relate. And let's not forget, it's just a hot look. Don't forget to checkout their site, where you'll find pics from all of the current collections, a full list of stockists, and pics of the collaboration styles, and their look book. I just checked all their online stockists and the Gates is still too fresh to be online. The hunt is on!
