| Suicidal Tendencies I'm not crazy. Institutionalized. You're the one's that crazy. Institutionalized. All I wanted was a Pepsi and she wouldn't give it to me! By far the most popular song by Suicidal Tendencies, Institutionalized was featured in the films Repo Man and Suburbia. (If you haven't seen these, drop what you're doing and watch them now.) Watch the video for Institutionalized. What I didn't know, though, is that the band is still alive and kicking and that I might ever get to see them live. I was wrong. They're playing two (2) shows in December: the first at Irving Plaza on 12.04 and another at Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ on 12.05. Tickets for Irving Plaza go on sale 09.20.08. I have a feeling this one will sellout so get them fast. Make sure to check their website for a full list of tour dates. In case you're not familiar with the legendary punk/hardcore band. "Suicidal Tendencies were formed in 1981 as a hardcore punk band in Venice, California. Suicidal Tendencies had a rough start that included being voted Worst Band/Biggest Assholes in Flipside in 1982." Read their full Wiki here. And don't forget to checkout
the band's MySpace, where you'll find lots of songs to checkout that I'm sure you've never heard. |
