Augusta Oiled Cordovan

I'm on a bit of an Atelier New York tip these days. Not only do they carry some of my favorite lines at the moment -- Damir Doma, Boris Bidjan Saberi, The Viridi-Anne, m.a+, Guidi, Julius, et al -- but they carry the hard to find, super high-end line of shoes and bags called Augusta.

Augusta -- founded by Simone Cecchetto in 2007, specializes in leather shoes and bags, utilizing skins such as horse, pig, and fish. Beginning this spring, Augusta has begun making leather garments too.

Check out the pics below of two hot custom oiled styles -- one boot and one shoe -- called the Oiled Cordovan. The wear and tear treatment is incredible. Not like other treatments of this nature, the oil adds to the lushness of the decay, giving the shoes and boots that extra something that separates the men from the boys.

See these styles and more from Augusta on Atelier's site. Sorry I can't direct link, but their site is built in Flash.
