I don't know about you all, but I'm over Swarovski. Mind you, I have nothing against the company or their product. And yes, it's great that they've spent so much money funding various art, fashion, and design projects, but, I'm sick of seeing their name on everything. They've done too much and now it's time to take a rest and give us a break. Please!!

In the interim, though, my current favorite SHOWstudio has teamed up with that company (I can't type their name again) for an online project currently on view called Christmastide.

* For those who may not know, Christmastide is real. I'd never heard of it until now, I have to admit.

In the spirit of the festive season, SHOWstudio has approached a dozen stellar examples of international fashion talent to help them celebrate Christmastide in style. Over the twelve days of Christmas - from 26 December 2008 to 6 January 2009 - SHOWstudio will showcase a selection of inspired and inspirational images proffered by their design stars, refracted and faceted as if seen through that company's trademark sparkling crystals.

Designers featured: Roksanda Ilincic, Todd Lynn, Ann-Sofie Back, Peter Jensen, Nicholas Kirkwood, Marios Schwab, Rodarte, Mary Katrantzou, Emilio de la Morena, Sandra Backlund, Scott Wilson, and Richard Nicoll.
