It's been a big month for London's Black Peter Group. Their debut LP It's Still Fucked Up drops on 12.22.08.

For those who are are unfamiliar, "Black Peter Group is a New York / London based band fronted by multi media artist Gio Black Peter, who plays Rudolph in the recently-released Bruce La Bruce film Otto; Or Up With Dead People. They make booty bass electro. What does this mean? Nothing. Because they don't let labels restrict them from making hits like It's Fucked Up!- a fusion of hillbilly 2-step and punk. Or for that matter Goody Two Shoes, a cover of the Adam Ant 50's inspired rockabilly pop, which suits Gio's distinctive vocal perfectly."

They played an after party for the Black Market with London's Warboy a few summers back at the now defunct dive bar/club Rififi (it's now a Buffalo Exchange) and it was pure madness.
