2. If you haven't seen Godard's classic Contempt, you really ought to do yourself a favor and go see it at Film Forum on its 45th anniversary. If for no other reason than to see the iconic Brigitte Bardot in action, but mostly because when it comes up in conversation, you really don't want to have not seen it or try to fake having seen it. You really can't call yourself hip or cultured if you haven't at least seen Breathless and Contempt. Unfortunate timing for the scandal really. If it'd happened a bit back, she could have been the next Pussycat Doll!
