Check out the much anticipated Alexander Wang + H&M Fall/Winter 2014 capsule collection. The sneak peek images showed styles I liked much better. Check those out here. I like the general look and feel of the collection, but it needs a lot more tailoring and attention to the fit if they plan to do this again.  I also have a feeling it looks much much better in photos on a model than in real life.

Leon Louis explores the merits of conventionalism versus great innovators. The silhouette alludes to intimidation cloaked garments, wrapping the individualistic bearers, in artisanal fabrics. All pieces have been subjected to artisanal craftsmanship, workmanlike tailoring, which is reflected by the sheer feel of lush simplicity.”

Check out the Spring/Summer 2015 menswear collection from Japanese brand A Degree Fahrenheit. It’s FINALLY Fashion Week in Tokyo.

“After graduating from Fashion school, Yu Amatsu moved to New York where he worked as a pattern maker for brands Jen Kao and Marc Jacobs and has won the Gen Art International Design Competition twice. Amatsu’s skills as a pattern maker can be seen from his intricate details and the beautiful structure of his clothes. He aspires to create clothes with a message, and to bring the wearer’s individual value to a higher level.”
