We were doing some online shopping and came across a line of super luxe leather jackets and other leather pieces by a line named Incarnation that we’re becoming more and more obsessed with the more we find out.
Keita Ogawa designs the line. Ogawa started out working for internationally famous Japanese retailer United Arrows, moved onto sales for Chrome Hearts, and worked with a seasoned leather artisan, who taught the designer the tricks of the trade, including the tanning process and how to hand craft and hand dye leather hides.
He’s since moved from Tokyo to Florence where he designs the men’s leather line Incarnation, working with famed luxury tannery Guidi 1896 SRL.
Ogawa has taken a few sneak peak pics from his trip to Paris to show the Spring/Summer 2011 collection that you can see below. Everything in every piece he designs is done by hand, including the dye process, which we think is incredible. Make sure to check out Incarnation’s site for more info and their Facebook, which is updated more regularly.
