We’ve been following Danish menswear line Frost Birgens for several seasons now, and, while we’ve liked it all along, this collection is by far the best yet.
In the unique aesthetic characteristics of Frost Birgens, the Fall/Winter 2011 collection is based on rather classic silhouettes, with references to post-war working-class uniforms and gentleman like suits. Materials are natural, rough and structured with a gentle drape such as silk noil, lambswool, cotton and viscose. Colors are dusty and earthly toned, some patterned herringbone and tweed like in a vintage look. Rounded off with accessories like the indispensable hooded scarf for the crisp and cold autumn/winter days.
