BARBARA I GONGINI F/W 17

I love this line.

BARBARA I GONGINI‘s Autumn Winter Collection 9 & 26 lives from the clash between traditionally tailored garments and urban street wear, traversing the span with an Avant-Garde approach. The focus lies on basic items, seen as the canvas of creation where the wearer is encouraged to layer up with other designs. This season the designer is circling around organic forms and shapes, inspired by the Northern Hemisphere. This is visible through the tactility – from raw washed leather over stone washed garments and cold dyed items. Light cotton, raw linen, soft leather and long-haired wool play a significant role in the collection. Dusty tones, chalky-coated surfaces and ash tones break through the monochromatic color palette, thus details and specific elements hit the eye instantly. A graphic landscape in formation. A sent of the North.”
