Hong Kong mega retailer I.T has some big news.

It's opening a free standing Margiela store in Hong Kong on the Kowloon side -- the second MMM store in the capital of mega consumption. You'll remember I.T's MMM exhibit in June that kicked off the opening of their super hip Beijing 798 space. Like the rest of the world, they just can't get enough Margiela.

"It's been a long wait. For a long while the fashion connisseurs have had to go to one of the very few fashion shrines on On Lan Street for their fashion feast. Finally, cult followers have somewhere to head to on the Kowloon side. Maison Martin Margiela is soon setting its store at Harbour City, and in celebration to that, on the opening day, there will be a cocktail reception."

The opening on 10.15.08 at 7pm is by invite only and, of course, will be filled with celebrities, press, and fashion insiders. Try your luck, though, you never know. If nothing else, stop by after the opening to check it out.
