OMG — we’ve been so caught up in … EVERYTHING … that we almost forgot about one of our favorite sneaker brands D.A.T.E. And you know what fans we are of all things Italian, right?

You know we love white sneakers, right? Yeah, we know. Just checking.
So we were shopping today and popped into the PUMA store on Union Square as our Vans were ready for retirement. Luckily for us, the PUMA Mid 917’s in all white canvas — the ones we’ve wanted for over a year now but were sold out — are back in stock and only cost $45! So we got a pair and are thinking of getting a back up pair tomorrow just in case they go out of production again.

We were innocently window shopping on LUISAVIAROMA’s site and found a pair of sneakers by Dior Homme that we think are really hot. Not exactly our style, but we sure can appreciate them.
The Dior Homme Sheepskin Hightops hit it spot on — the color and type of leather, the wrap around laces, the shape. These just look like a high fashion sneaker, which isn’t an easy feat. Get yours before it’s too late!

We gave a pair of gorgeous Italian leather sneakers by Pantofola d’Oro a few months back. People were into them, but we’re not sure we gave them their proper due given how cool and well-made this line is.
The shape of the sneakers is casual and cool. The leather is casual, but clearly of superior quality and broken in just write with dyes that are unrivaled.

As you know, we are really bad at lying, which is why when we tell you we haven’t been big fans of the Fred Perry sneakers in the past, we’re sure you won’t be surprised. Some things look better in pics than they do in real life and some things — like these sneakers, for example — look better in real life than they do in pics. Not that they look bad in the pics, but thanks to all of the European tourists running around New York this summer, we’ve seen lots of them on guys and we’ve had a big change of heart.
Get yours before it’s too late. Not that they’re going to sell out, but summer’s not going to last forever folks!
We were doing a little e-shopping just now and came across a pair of high top black camo sneakers by Lanvin that got us salivating.
We are crazy about shoes, which is why when we saw this pair of Waxed Buffalo Sneakers by Italian master BB Bruno Bordese we nearly flipped out. They’re like those crazy Rick Owens boot sneaker things, but much cooler in our humble opinion.
