MOMA Monochromatic Lace Ups

By Editor in Fashion on May 14th, 2013 | No Comments »

Check out this sick pair of blue and light blue leather lace up shoes from Moma. I’m picturing wearing them with a pair of navy or khaki shorts to dress them up. Maybe with a button down shirt for a night time slightly more formal feel or with a white or navy t-shirt or tank top for something a little more casual. Either way, I want these shoes.

Moma was founded by brothers Luigi, Nelso, and Daniele Gironacci in 1975. With their collection of high-end footwear, the brothers wanted to create trendy, handcrafted shoes that also paid homage to Italian shoemaker traditions.

N.D.C. Made By Hand Moccasins

There’s not much about N.D.C. Made By Hand shoes and sneakers that I don’t love. My favorite, though, have always been their moccasins. They’re just so fucking cool. This pair in turquoise is perfect for the upcoming warm months with jeans or shorts, you can’t go wrong.

I love Leather Crown. Their sneakers are the perfect mix of cool, sporty, and laid back. For Spring/Summer 2013, in addition to sneakers, they’ve added shoes and, from the look book images on their site, clothing.

Shoto Washed Leather Lace Ups

By Editor in Fashion on March 8th, 2013 | No Comments »

Spring’s just around the corner (saying that never gets old) so it’s time to start looking for some non winter shoes. This pair of Washed Leather Lace Ups from Shoto are just what I’m looking for: they’re clearly well made and look awesome, but have a slightly distressed (washed!) look to the leather, are a medium brown (not too dark, not too light) and have what is currently the perfect sole.

Get yours now from Luisa Via Roma‘s eShop.

Schier Shoes

Check out Schier Shoes — cool shoes you can dress up or down made in Africa.

Velskoen, pronounced “fell-skoon” and known colloquially as “vellies,” are the ancestor of the modern-day desert boot. Vellies were first made in the 1600s, inspired by the footwear of the Khoikhoi tribe and crafted using raw materials. Later, our vellies were adapted by British travelers, packaged and renamed to be what we now know as desert boots.”

“Our velskoen are made in the coastal town of Swakopmund, Namibia. There, a small group of eight Damara gentlemen assemble every shoe by hand, turning out just 20 pairs an afternoon.”

Check out the full range — including a series of neon toed shoes — from Schier on their official brand site.
