Riviera Club Fall/Winter 2011Up next: Zachary Bako went behind the scenes to get images of Riviera Club‘s presentation for Fall/Winter 2011. We think the line is very cool. Check out our coverage of their S/S 11 collection here.

The setting for the presentation looks very cool with a Medieval type feast staged for the presentation of the collection. More pics after the click. For more info on Riviera Club, check out their site.

Riviera Club Fall/Winter 2010

Riviera Club Fall/Winter 2010We love the Fall/Winter 2010 collection from menswear line Riviera Club, but what we love more is the look book photos they did of the collection.

They show the collection in the best possible light — the clothes not only look good together on various models (if you didn’t know they were look book images, you’d notice the guys all have a similar look, but you’d never guess it was a photo shoot for one collection by one designer, which is a great thing.) The models look good, but they’re on the normal side of male models. They look like guys who’d actually wear the clothes.

See for yourself in the images below. Check out Riviera Club‘s site for more info.

Riviera Club

Heads up guys: there’s a new menswear line named Riviera Club that has just launched with a Spring/Summer 2010 collection.

The Southern California based casual/surfer line is just in time to ride the tidal wave of nouveau preppy that started in New York a year or so back and is quickly gaining momentum. As the skinny grey and black jeans fade into the horizon, an army of khakis can be seen rushing in. It’s just a matter of time — kinda right around Spring 2010 if you ask me — before nouveau preppy morphs into nouveau preppy/surf.

Resolutely inspired by vintage California, Riviera Club creates eminently wearable clothing for the casual male. Influenced by the unmistakable aura of West Coast coolness, the collection is timeless and classic; and with a price point that won’t break the bank.

With its debut collection, Riviera Club toasts the legend of Bunker Spreckels, surfing’s “Divine Prince of Decadence,” who at the age of 21 inherited a vast family fortune. Traveling the world with a hired photographer and a surfboard, he lived a life of spontaneous extravagance and style, until his unexpected and mysterious death at the age of 27.

Riviera Club relives Bunker’s times and travels through the detailing of their Spring/Summer 2010 collection.
