Check out the F/W 13 menswear collection from Dutch designer Francisco van Benthum.

The designer, after graduating from fashion school, started his search in finding his vision as a menswear designer by exploring and stretching the borders of traditional men’s fashion and playing with its codes and restrictions.

That is exactly what became his trademark: adding a contemporary twist to the classical form by re-interpreting and re-composing the outline and elements of the traditional menswear silhouette.

Francisco van Benthum Spring/Summer 2013I was shopping around online last week and came across a cool menswear collection I’d not heard of before, but liked very much. Check out the Spring/Summer 2013 collection from Dutch designer Francisco van Benthum. The looks in the main image above best illustrate what I like — the sporty overall look and feel of pieces and the designer’s effortless knack for mixing very classic menswear styles with sporty colors, cut, and fabrics. Delikatessen Spring/Summer 2013Another cool, calm, and collected collection from menswear line Delikatessen.

This season Delikatessen‘s design team has collaborated with Micheal Kampe, an internationally renowned German designer. A graduate of Antwerp’s Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Kampe‘s eponymous designs leave an unforgettable impression as they seek new directions in denim and street wear.
