Cy Choi Fall/Winter 2013

Remember how I was going on about all of the “new” menswear designers from Korea? Cy Choi was one of the names I mentioned and for good reason.
The collection for Fall/Winter 2013 is another in a series of amazing collections. There’s a nice mix of fitted pieces and looks with looser baggy pieces. Usually a designer picks one or the other, but I seldom see a mixture. It’s done very well. I can’t believe that I’m saying this, but the baggy bags tucked into boots are awesome.
Additionally, the coats are gorgeous: the cuts, the layering, the work that went into getting all of the elements just right. Check out these three: 1, 2, 3, as well as the rest of the collection after the click.
Songzio Fall/Winter 2013

I still can’t quite wrap my head around the fact that in the past 3 or so years several amazingly cool Korean menswear lines sprang out of what seems like nowhere. I don’t know if I knew of any fashion from Korea before Songzio, Siki Im, General Idea, Cy Choi, Jeehee Sheen, and Juun J. Today, a handful of the most edgy yet groundbreaking menswear is coming out of Korea.
Check out Songzio’s Fall/Winter 2013 collection after the jump. It’s just fucking cool. (more…)
Byungmun Seo Fall/Winter 2013

These are the kind of images a designer wants of his collection: they look cool on initial glance, the artistic side perfectly matches the collection, and they clearly show the collection extremely well.
Check out preview images from Byungmun Seo’s Fall/Winter 2013 menswear collection below. I can’t wait to see the full set.
Check out runway shots from Cy Choi‘s menswear collection for Spring/Summer 2013. In case you missed it, you can check out look book shots of the same collection that I covered
