The new project draws materials from the archive of MarvieLab‘s past seasons’ fabrics and reinterprets them in new forms. Once finished, the pieces undergo a series of treatments and over-dyeing techniques that change the properties and textures of the materials. (more…)

Check out the latest (I’m calling it Fall/Winter 2012, but it could still be Spring/Summer 2012) collection from Italian footwear brand OXS Rubber Sole. They’re one of my current favorites: the sneakers are almost too weird for me to consider wearing given their seeming formless appearance, but the company manages to hit the sweet spot between sporty, unique, and cool, but not ugly cool.
