I really like the Swedish line Acne, I don’t cover it a lot b/c it frustrates me: I want everything to be priced 30% less. I see a wind breaker that I like and it’s $350. If it were $225, I’d buy it. $210 for a cotton tank top!?!? If it were $130, I’d buy it.
I know I cover stuff that’s way more expensive on the site, but again, although I love Acne, I don’t think what they design should cost what they think it should cost.
I do though like these sneakers enough to cover them. These are interesting and unique enough that I’d seriously consider buying them. A pair of these to wear around all summer with shorts?? Yes, pls.

I just stopped by an intimate cocktail party at the NADAZ on 5th Ave to check out the Spring/Summer 2013 menswear collection from iconic American designer Perry Ellis, whose recent collaboration with Duckie Brown has been amazing in terms of PR giving the brand just enough muscle to spruce up its main line.
The collection I saw tonight was cool and wearable with a much slimmer fit that in the past, and insanely affordable. Watch out J Crew and Club Monaco. My favorites: the casual shorts and pants, the printed button down shirts, the polos, one particular navy waxed jacket, and the sporty suede shoes.

I love Burberry. There have only been a few collections in the past several years that I’ve only kinda liked. Generally, I want at least half of the jackets in any given collection and the Spring/Summer 2013 Burberry Brit collection is no different.

Now that I’ve gotten over having to give away yet ANOTHER pair of Golden Goose sneakers (keep ‘em coming by the way PR folks), I’m ready for this week’s giveaway. After having abandoned my backpack years ago for a gym bag, I’m ready to come back to backpacks: with texting, coffee drinking, and needing both hands to push people who get in my way on the subway and on the streets, I need both hands again!
