We keep running into a wall with our desire to hate on anything by John Varvatos and that wall is: a lot of his stuff is actually pretty hot.
Case in point (we must add here that Varvatos shoes are crowning glory of his collections in our humble opinion): the Ago Laceless Chelsea Lace Up Boot. Please take a moment to drool with us. Get yours before it’s too late from the Varvatos‘ eShop.

Black boots by Augusta in LUISAVIAROMA’s eShop? Did you even have to question whether or not we want a pair? Someone please come over and wipe the drool from our chin as we stare blankly at the screen.
There’s just something about this style of shoes/boots by Barry — the Distressed Buttero – that has us frothing at the mouth. You remember our coverage of the shoe? If not, check it out
You know those woman who have closets ful of shoes in all colors, heights, styles, and such? That’d be us if we had $1,000’s to spend.
Our semi well-known foot/shoe fetish seems to have taken a curious turn and is now morphing into a sort of boot fetish. It’s not our fault, though. We blame it on the designers who are making all of these insanely cool boots that we just can’t stop thinking about.
Here in New York, no matter where you go, the smell of rotting garbage is inescapable. That can only mean one thing: it’s the dead of summer. Despite the temps, anyone who’s on it fashion-wise is already thinking ahead…planning their Fall wardrobes. So while you walk around in your Vans and flip flops, the cool kids are shopping for boots and shoes, which brings us to this pair of n.d.c. Ankle Boots, which we love love love. The color of the leather and the shape/height are perfection.
Check out this super cool pair of dyed calf skin boots by Open Closed. We don’t know much about the line, but we do know we love these boots. The look to be a really deep navy bordering on black, which we also love.
We we sit barefoot, with Havianas or wearing out black low top Vans, all we want to do is tell you about a hot pair of waxed boots that you’re going to love.
On our shopping trip this weekend, we saw some really hot shoes at Bloomingdales SoHo. We saw some hot shoes by none other than John Varvatos. We hate to admit it, but this man’s design team really knows how to make hot shoes. We also hate to admit that this chukka style is growing on us very quickly — probably because more cool designers have gotten into the chukka game and are making versions of them that are refined from the original design.
Sit down for this one — we think this might be the first thing EVER that we’ve liked by Bottega Veneta, but we could be wrong.
