One of our favorite lines — New York designer Asher Levine‘s menswear — just set us sneak peak images of their Spring/Summer 2012 collection. Not only are the pics super cool, but from what we can see thus far, the collection looks better than ever. While we love the futuristic look of Levine‘s line, we’re psyched to see what looks like pieces that will appeal to a broader audience of guys in terms of wearability. While we won’t know for sure until the line drops officially, which we’re patiently awaiting, so far, so good, as the saying goes.

Our man about town (photographer about Fashion Week to be precise) Zachary Bako stopped by New York menswear designer Asher Levine‘s show last night to get some shots in backstage. Levine is one of our favorite new menswear designers, so we made sure to add it to our list as a priority. Looks like there were lots of models playing the waiting game, not too much drama, lots of leather, and more pairs of futuristic leather boots than any other shows we’ve seen thus far.

Just in: images from New York menswear designer Asher Levine‘s collection for Spring/Summer 2011. In case you missed it, check out our coverage of this Fall/Winter 2010 here. Levine‘s giving the New York world of menswear a much-needed injection of cool, cutting edge fashion, which we so desperately lack.
This collection is a great follow up to the Fall/Winter 2010 collection. Levine keeps the overall look and feel of the line but reigns in the styles to include more wearable pieces while not compromising the cool, edgy look he’s developed thus far. We especially like the one piece jumpsuits and his take on the tie dye trend that’s cropping up everywhere.
