“While researching macro and micro images, we came across an image of a human eye. After viewing pictures taken far above earth, microscopic formations at a cellular level, and far away galaxies we came to realize that this photo of the eye held all the same characteristics and gave the same sense of vast wonder and infinite expanse. It was strange to think that all these incredible aspects of nature that occur outside ourselves were mirrored right in the organs that we use to perceive them. (more…)
Check out edgy, cool menswear designer Alex Mattsson‘s latest collection.
A Royal College of Art graduate Mattsson’s sophisticated vision of menswear marked him as one of the standout designers of the 2009 graduate shows. Unusual techniques and textures combined with artisan experimental techniques have secured his place amongst the new breed of young menswear designers gouging alternative directions for the future of men’s fashion.
