People say the best clothing in the world is made in Italy, but I think some of the trashier brands — no names mentioned — have sullied that belief. Take it from someone who covers a lot of clothing, the best made and highest quality goods are made in Italy. Hands down.
Up this week: a pair of Distressed Leather Sneakers (retail $380) from Italian luxe footwear brand Santoni. A minimal look made from “maximal” materials and with that undeniable Italian craftsmanship. In a word: gorgeous.
