Remember Italian menswear line MSGM whose Fall/Winter 2010 collection we covered here? When we saw the collection, we instantly fell in love with its casual, youthful style. Now that we’ve seen images from the just-released Spring/Summer 2011 collection, we’re even more smitten.

Waikiki, Pipeline, Sunset Beach and Malibu. The most stunning, seventies surfing spots inspired MSGM’s new collection of menswear for Spring/Summer 2011.

The stress-free look, the patterns and the music of the movement were all starting points for casting the foundations of a look for men that is sophisticated yet relaxed. With not a hint of sportswear: quite the opposite in fact, as the focus is on to a new notion of style for the cornerstones of any man’s wardrobe.

Bermuda shorts, chinos and jogging pants feature one of the brand’s favourite fabrics: “parachute” cotton canvas. It’s the shapes, relaxed but slim and close-fitting, that make them all look new and unusual.
