The spirit of “Expedition” prevails in the Fall/Winter 2012 Collection. Drawing inspiration from the historic 1953 feat of scaling Everest, the clothing nods to adventure and the physical elements faced by the men while ascending.

The color palette of charcoal, dark brown, khaki and tinted red pulls from the terrain of the surrounding environs, mirroring the rugged, craggy peaks of the mountain range while creams and icy tones speak to their snow topped caps.

Gottardi melds the functional design details that are his signature with tailored silhouettes in the offering, paying acute attention to garment finishing in leather trimming, suede insets and quilted accents. Classic wool fabrications blend with more technical nylons and coated cottons for durability while contrast tones and color blocking add texture and depth to complete the aesthetic.
