Visionaire 2010 is curated by 52 influential figures whose visions shape the future of the art world. Each curator selects 7 artists for a total of 365 artists. Each artist contributes one image. All 365 images are presented in the format of an electronic calendar, featuring one image for each day of the year.

Curators include: Louise Bourgeois, Maurizio Cattelan, Ugo Rondinone, Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, Mario Testino, Zaha Hadid, Tilda Swinton, James Franco, Raf Simons, Marc Jacobs, Rei Kawakubo, and Kate Moss.

Artists whose work is featured in the calendar: Bruce Nauman, Olafur Eliasson, Steve McQueen, Dan Graham, Kaws, Sarah Lucas, Keren Cytter, Marlene Dumas, Richard Serra, Tracey Emin, Gelitin, and Hussein Chalayan to name a few.

Check out a sampling of the artists’ work in the images below. 4,000 of the calendars will be produced and they’re selling for $295, not a whole lot considering the amount and quality of work you’re getting. The question is: how much value does art presented in this manner at this size have for you personally??
