Nique Spring/Summer 2010-11The temps may be dropping north of the equator, but down under, things are heating up. Check out the Spring/Summer 2010-11 menswear collection by Australian design duo Nique.

Nique’s co-creators and designers Nick and Lucy Ennis began their careers as graphic designers working out of the loft of their West Melbourne warehouse. Their renowned graphic design work was seen throughout the streets of Melbourne in the form of bill posters and flyers for the thriving local music scene. Their graphic clout was quickly adapted and reapplied to form the fashion brand Nique, now boasting a list of loyal followers including the members of MGMT & Bloc Party.

Indie Kid — the name of the collection — is a stripped back aesthetic devoid of pretense. The look features skinny denim and oversized jersey, long dripping knitted hoods and cardigans with bold printed graphic tees and singlet’s. The prints are often subtly subversive, featuring photographs from emerging talent the world over.
