Arcade Fire | The Wilderness Downtown Video

Not only does Arcade Fire have a new hit record out, but they’ve teamed up with Google in a super geeky way to show just what can be done with HTML5. Not surprisingly, the video/movie called The Wilderness Downtown by Chris Milk featuring the track We Used To Wait is super cool.
This is what they say on the site: A postcard is created by an analog signal: you. This site takes that postcard and converts it to digital. The Wilderness Machine brings it back to analog. Look for it on tour with the band in North America. If you’re lucky enough to get someone’s postcard from it, plant it. A tree will grow out of it. We’re not quite sure what that means, but that’s cool.
Check out the video for yourself here. It’s awesome.
